My wife is currently working here in the UK, with a tier 2 visa, and I am also here as her dependent. I have an important matter to attend to in my home country, can I travel alone and get back here with no issues? Thanks in advance!

You are fee to travel. There is NO requirement or restriction that you can only travel with your spouse.
