TIER2 GENERAL TO ILR SET(o) Mandatory Document Question

Post by SNIVAS » Thu Dec 20, 2018 10:08 am

"For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the
relevant requirements of the immigration rules. For further information concerning the evidence required,
please refer to the Tier 2 migrant policy guidance on our website."

I came across the above required evidence to support my ILR application, from Mandatory Document Check list.I am confused,my situation is, I was on 'Post Study Work' visa for 2 years, before I have been granted my first Tier2 General Visa. So what Type of evidence do I need to provide in my case, for the above question.

Kindly respond to me, Sincerer apologies for posting the same question on another member's thread.

If you are applying for ILR based on Tier 2, then there is nothing you need to submit.

Many Thanks for your response. But I was still confused, because in the question it's saying that "For the period before you were granted the leave as Tier 2 migrant, document showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules" which was 'Post Study Work for 2 years' in my case. So do I need to submit the copy of 'Post Study Work visa' as an evidence or do I need to provide any other documents.

Apologies for asking this again, Could you please clarify me on this. Many Thanks again.

No you don't.

The requirement to submit evidence is for those applicants who are combining Tier 1 General or Tier 1 Entrepreneur visas with Tier 2 to make up 5 years for ILR.

PSW does not count for ILR based on 5 years residence.
