Case reference number

Post by board2018 » Wed Dec 19, 2018 8:29 pm

Just a quick question... I’ve applied for FLRM about a month ago and expecting an acknowledgement letter from HO soonish. My employer is seeking to do an ECS check on me but I don’t have a case reference number to give them for my submitted application. What should I do?

The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi Segul thank you for your response but the link takes me the the ECS check link which again would require my employer to have a case reference number to do a check. As I don’t have this at the moment is there anything I can do to prove to them my application is in process?

Home Office reference number or case ID (if they have either)
Case reference number only need if you have otherwise rest of the information must enable them to get the necessary information.

The ECS asks for an ongoing case ID number or application number. It will not proceed without the case ID. :/

Then they can use the telephone helpline number 0300 123 5434. Read below:

Thank you Segul. If there is a problem I will ask them to call.
With Christmas and NY it’s so difficult to know if anything will come in the post but I’m still hopeful.
Thank you for your help.

In addition of above you yourself can also get familiarize to your employer regarding section 3C which extends the previous leave and its all conditions & privileges until the case gets decided. Read below about it:
