Limit of continuous absence outside UK on tier 2

Post by arrow197 » Sun Dec 23, 2018 1:41 pm

HI
i am on tier 2 and my kids are tier 2 dependents since January 2017. Last leave to remain was issued on 08/01/2018 for next three years. I am aware of allowable absence of 180 days rule outside UK. However, my kids are going outside UK for first time for 34 days at stretch (continuous) now. I heard that as tier 2 dependent, you cannot leave UK for more than 28 days at stretch :) . Is it right information:?: or it will affect future application of ILR adversely :?: i am working so going with them for under 28 days :P

You heard wrong. There is no restriction to only 28 days absence at a time.

Don't believe everything you hear from friends or at the pub
