Naturalisation application via ILR Tier 2 route

Hi all,

I have an ILR since April 2018, planning to apply for citizenship in April 2019.
I was thinking of using the nationality checking service but the website suggests that this service will no longer be available after the end of this year. Are you aware of any new service replacing this service? Because I was planning to get my original documents, and travel whilst my application is in progress.

The Nationality Checking Service will no longer be available from 31 December 2018.

Does this new service also work as the Nationality Checking Service? I cannot seem to find information about them copying the originals so that allows one to travel during the process? NSC was doing this with small fee I believe?
