Not Sending Online Application Printout To Sheffield

Hi Everyone,

I have indefinite leave to remain remain in the UK and we have submitted a spouse visa application for my wife from China. My wife is currently in China and I am in the UK.

The biometrics were taken 29/11/2018 and we were told to take a print out of application form to the appointment which we did but they only took the first page and told us to send the supporting documents to Sheffield.

I have sent the supporting documents only to Sheffield without the online application form from the UK as we thought it was not needed.
But after reading through some posts in this forum, I am not quite sure about that now.

Also I have phoned UKVI yesterday and was told that the status is awaiting disicion. Does that mean they started started processing the application now.

I am just a bit worried now that we didn't send a copy of the online application form.

Has anyone done this before (only sending supporting documents)?

You must have sent the print out of online application form along with appendix 2 form.

Thanks for your reply, that was quick! As I have mentioned in the post that I have phoned them and was told it's awaiting decision and they have everything they need. Do you think that I still should send in the online application form now?

No harm in sending them the online application form along with a covering letter since the decision is not yet made. Maybe it work out.
