New Tier 2 (General) Visa application

Post by pbv85 » Wed Jan 02, 2019 5:15 pm

Hi,

Appreciate your time and advice on this query.

I spent exactly 4years in UK on a Tier 2 ICT Visa as on 1st March 2018 (i.e which was my last day in uk) whereas my actual visa expiry date was 16th March 2018.

Now that I moved on to a different organization working from outside of UK.

May I know when can my employer issue a job sponsorship letter I.e COS for the Tier 2 General visa application.
Till date I completed 10months of cooling off. Should this application be filed only after 16th March 2019 (after 12months 15 days of cooling off ) or can it be made early i.e 3 months before completion of my cooling off or on 1st March 2019.

But in this case its a different uk based organization & its a different visa category i.e T2G instead of T2ICT.

Thanks.

You can only apply for Tier 2 General after you have served the full 12 months cooling off, counted from the date you left the UK. HO will expect to see evidence of the date you left the UK so hopefully you retained your boarding pass etc.

I have the soft copies of the tickets issued by Stupid and the stamping at the airport on arrival. I suppose this should be OK.. please correct me.

Also, Can the employer issue letter of sponsorship before my cooling off date ?? while I still make my application after cooling off period i.e 2nd march .2019.

Me and my wife already have the NHS ID as an registration which we did before and have paid for NHS each month when I was in uk. Should I still pay for the IHS charges because being a new application?

Thanks.

Should be fine.

Should be fine. Obviously you can only be offered the job once the full and proper RLMT process has been completed.

You have to pay IHS fees when you apply for a visa, there is no exemption. IHS fees are doubling on 8th January.
