UK Visit Visa for child naturalised in India

Hello,

My child is 3 years old and he was born in the UK. He is currently in India and yesterday he received his certificate of registration as a British citizen.

I need to bring him to UK within the next two months and if I apply for UK passport in India it will take at least 3 to 4 months. I can't wait that long so my question is "Can I apply for a visit visa for him to come to the UK?" I am thinking about applying for his UK passport in the UK after he arrives here? Is that allowed?

Please bear in mind that my child has full UK birth certificate and he has already received the certificate of registration as British Citizen recently.

No, a British citizen can't be issued a 'visa', 'entry clearance' or 'leave to remain' as they are free from immigration restrictions and have the right of abode.

I believe he won't be allowed to travel to UK using his naturalisation certificate. What would be the quickest way to bring my child to UK apart from applying for British passport in India? Because If I apply for his British Passport in India it will take on average 4 months...

The reason for my urgency is that my wife is pregnant and she won't be allowed to travel after 31st March 2019. We can't afford to leave our son in India even for a while as he is only 3 years old.
