british nationality with bankrupt husband

dear friends

I got ILR on FLR m basis last month and waiting to apply british nationality after 12 months time. my husband is due to file bankruptcy and i am thinking would it effect my nationality in any way?
because i had got ilr on flrm basis on the basis of my hubby earnings, due to brexit he is preparing to file bankruptcy. if it does effect my british nationality what are my options?

Is your husband British??

There is NO income requirement for citizenship.

Not sure what Brexit has to do with bankruptcy filing??

yes my husband is british, kids are british too. i thought my or my husband earnings matter in the british nationality. but it is a big relief for both of us that his bankruptcy would not effect my nationality. i am currently not working.

As he is British, there is no need to wait to apply for citizenship. You can apply now if you meet the requirements.

The 12 months wait on ILR is only if you are not married to a British citizens.
