Urgent ILR question

Post by ellegoowin85 » Mon Jan 14, 2019 10:02 pm

hi,

my husband left his ILR application to the last minute due to health issues, he has been on a 5 year spouse visa and it is due to expire on the 19th jan. he has passed his life in the uk test and has an appointment booked at the premium centre on the 17th jan, will this be enough time?

thank you!!

In which case, he only needs the Life in the UK test

ok cool, so he has passed this, everything should be ok yes? i read somewhere that the immigration act states it is based on your application date, and if his application date is the 17th and his visa expires on the 19th this should be fine?

Have you already submitted the application online? The date of online application is the date of application so I would assume its already done since you have an appointment booked for 17th Jan.
You can apply upto 28 days before the expiry date so your good.
