Salary increase before ILR on Tier2 base

Post by jahan83 » Mon Jan 28, 2019 5:47 pm

Hi All
My anual salary increased in Just last week from Gross £ 30800 to £ 36000 and planing to apply for ILR in end of April 2019.

1. Do I need to report this change in SMS and how and what should I say in SMS?
2. Are 3 payslips and 3 bank statments are enough for ILR on Tier2 base?

Many thanks

1. The authorised sms user should if it is not part of the company wide annual increases. Did everyone get a big increase or £5,200pa increase or just you??

What is your SOC and has your job role and duties changed at all?

Not reporting it is a breach of your sponsors obligation.

Such a large increase (only for you) shortly before ILR will raise a red flag to HO and could trigger an investigation and visit to your sponsor. HO has been aware of these sudden large increases before ILR for a number of years now for migrants to meet the ILR salary requirements. HO feel that if you are worth this salary for ILR, why has your sponsor not paid this before and why only now just before applying for ILR.

Hi CR001,

Happen to have a similar question regarding this matter. I hope you don't mind me ask you here.
I had a £3,000 salary increase(increased in December 2018) following a promotion to a senior position (promoted in April 2018 with a salary increase £2,000). A second increase in salary was mainly due to the increased responsibilities and workload in later 2018. Would it be acceptable? Does my employer need to notify my promotion to HO? I am planning to apply ILR this month.

Thank you so much for any advice.

You need to wait till 24 months has passed.

The 28 days concession is for ho applications and not road traffic offenses.

Many thanks CR001, some one told me it's not a problem as this wasn't custodial?
Can you please clear this confession to me please?
Thanks again for your time
