Tier 2 to ILR - Address not updated

Post by Vishal342 » Fri Feb 01, 2019 7:59 pm

Hi,

I have moved to new address on 07/07/2017. UKVI got my old address on their system. Now after 4 weeks I am applying for ILR. Is it too late to change address on UKVI? Is it big issue? Can UKVI refuse my application. Please help

My salary was £23000 and now it jump to £36000. Will be any issue for that? My employer increased 6 months ago.

You can expect HO to investigate an increase of £13,000. It will be an instant red flag.

What is your SOC??

£23k per annum is less that what the SOC states, which is £24K.

What is your employer's justification to give you a £13k salary increase??

Did all the other employees also get nice big increases or only you??

If only you, was it reported on the SMS system??

Your choice which ILR route you apply for but the requirement even for ILR LR is that you met the requirements of all visas held.

Do you have dependents in the UK??

SET LR is the easier route however your spouse will have to switch to FLR(M) and meet the English and Financial requirements. She won't be able to continue on her PBS Dependent visa.

How long has your spouse been in the UK??

According my SOC and COS salary was £23500 and I granted visa based on that. Last year was on paternity leave so, annual income decreased to £23000.

The salary in the latest appendix j for SOC 2137 is £24,000.

It is not what the CoS says but what appendix j of the immigration rule says for your SOC.
