ILR renewal and Home office request.

Post by iicsguy » Thu Feb 07, 2019 11:33 am

Hi All,

I am seeking an advise for ILR [for Mother who is over 85 yrs old / Leave to remain /Work Permitted / No public funds ] visa renewal as received the below request from Homeoffice and the eact extraxt is blow.
=================================================
Part 2 - Missing relevant information:

A medical report on official headed paper, from an NHS Consultant detailing your diagnosis, the severity of the condition, what treatment is being received, the long and short-term prognosis and whether you are currently fit to travel. If you are not fit to travel, the report should state why this is the case, how long this is likely to be for, and whether any special arrangements could be made to enable you to travel.

1. Evidence on official headed paper giving a private practice or hospital address from a registered medical practitioner who holds an NHS consultant post or who appears in the Specialist Register of the General Medical Counsel that provides full details of the:

(a). nature of the illness

(b). proposed or continuing treatment

(c). frequency of consultation

(d). probable duration of the treatment

(e). details of the cost of treatment and confirmation that all expenses are being met, and

(f). where treatment amounts to private visits to a consultant for a relatively minor ailment, details of the progress being made and can you provide evidence of your spending time with your grandchildren.

Where a specific document has not be requested, but we have asked for documentary evidence, examples of acceptable types of letters and documents can include:

· letters or other documents from government departments or agencies, for example HM Revenue and Customs, Department for Work and Pensions, DVLA, TV Licensing

· letters or other documents from your GP, a hospital or other local health service about medical treatments, appointments, home visits or other medical matters

· bank statements/letters

· building society savings books/letters

· council tax bills or statements

· electricity and/or gas bills or statements

· water rates, bills or statements

· mortgage statements/agreement

· tenancy agreement(s)

· telephone bills or statements

· letters from schools or nurseries.

=============

We have sent the renewal application after 2 yrs and got the above request.

Could someone please share your thoughts / directions etc.. and / or anyone previously had similer request ?

Much appreciate your time and quick response.

What form did you complete??

How long has she been in the UK and what is her full UK immigration history?

ILR is not a 'visa renewal' by the way. ILR is permanent residence.

Used FLR (HRO) form
she is in UK for about 5 years now. After arriving in uk on visitor visa, changed stay in UK under. Initially 30months visa was given and the letter states that we will have renew further 30 monts three times, and then we can apply for ILR. Sent the renewal application last june. They asked to do the bio-metric application and also asked us to pay NHS surcharge. Then last week received a letter requesting the information, I have attached earlier.

You need to send what they are asking for.

Presumably you submitted the original FLR(HO) due to illness and HO want to be sure that her circumstances are still the same with recent up to date medical evidence and accommodation etc.
