New job/income and Spouse/Fiancé Visa income question

Post by Maffs » Sat Feb 16, 2019 4:46 am

Hi there,

I'm beginning a new job in the next few days that will start me off with a salary over the £18,600 min requirement for spouse/fiance visas.

My question is: would we be able to begin the visa process before six months of employment, using an employer letter to prove my salary, or will I need to wait until my sixth month of employment?

Thank you for any help.

You will have to wait 6 months with new employer unless you have previously worked and have earned at least £18600 during the last 12 months.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
