spouse visa

Post by chilli1965 » Tue Feb 19, 2019 10:51 pm

hi,i went on holiday to hong kong in janrary 2019 i met a lady fell in love and we have set a date for the wedding on the 07/03/2019 which has been approved by the hong kong authority the marriage will be legally recognised in the uk,we are now going to apply for a spouse visa,my fiancee lives in hong kong i live in the uk the immigration website says i can fill in the spouse visa online in the uk on behalf of my fiancee once i have completed the spouse visa i will send it to my fiancee to sign, my question is once she has signed the visa application with all the relevant documents included can she send the application in early paying the extra £600 to fast track the application as in send it on the 24/03/2019 by speed mail so the relevant department receive it on the 29/03/2019 which will give the relevant department time to process our claimand grant the spouse visa so we can fly home on the 08/03/20189 as a married couple...or am i being nieve.thanks for any help.

Your dates are very confusing, maybe typing error. If your mean that you are going to marry on 7th March in hong kong but willing to send your fast track application to UKVI so that you can get visa until 08th March in order to fly together. If that your mean then be informed that you cannot apply before getting the marriage certificate which only be issued on/after marriage day. And from abroad there is no one day service to get the visa.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
