Referee for Passport Application

Hello All,

Just wanna know if it’s Mandatory that it should be a professional Referee for passport application or can be anyone who hold BRITISH Passport.

As the passport guidance notes clearly state on page 12 and 13, the person must be a professional and hold a British or Irish passport that is currently valid.
