Dear All
Thanks for your help and support in advance.
I want to invite my parents from India for a month on a visitor visa. I have few queries which I would like to clear before I proceed for the application.
Both my parents are retired, and they do not have any income source or any savings. I have two brothers in India and both lives in different town then my father’s town. My elder brother is self-employed, and he runs the business which my father used to run at his hometown. My younger brother is in IT sector and have stable income of around Rs. 50,000 pm (£600 pm). Both of my brothers supports my parents with their daily needs by providing cash and buying household items for them. From UK, I transfer money occasionally into my parents joint account whenever required.
As per the visitor visa guideline I can sponsor my parents showing third party support from UK. I have £8k in my joint account (wife 2nd holder). I live in 2-bedroom flat with my wife and daughter. My younger brother doesn’t have savings more than 1 Lac (£1000) in his account.
I have below queries.
• I am planning to incl “sponsorship undertaking form- SU07" and sponsorship letter as a third-party support for the visa application. I will also include all other mandatory documents such as payslips, bank statements and accommodation proofs in the application.
• Do I need to include any other letter which can be useful?
• I have a joint bank account with my wife. Do I need to include her name in sponsorship letter and sponsorship undertaking form?
• Both of my brothers help my parents in their daily needs by providing necessary household items. I do not have any evidence such as bank statements or any other documents which can prove that my two brothers look after my parents. Will letter of support from both brothers sufficient to show that they take will take care of my parents when they return from UK?
• What other documents I can include to support my parents’ visa application?
Many thanks
