Tier 2 main applicant applying for ILR through 5yr stay. What is the applicant for dependents who have lesser stay

HI,

I am on UK tier 2 visa Since Jan2014 and and I completed my 5 year on this visa on 29th Jan 2019. Since I entered UK in april 2014,I am planning to consider that april as completion of 5 year for my ILR. Now the question I have is for my dependents.
My wife was granted Tier2 dependent Visa in Sep2014 and she extended her visa in Jan/feb 2017. But during these years she has never stayed in UK continuously. Her visits to UK was as below:
Sep2014 to Nov 2014
June 2015 to July 2016
April 2017 to present
This shows that she cant not apply for ILR due to continuous stay. Once I apply my ILR what visa will she be allowed to stay?
And my son was born in Sep 2016 in India and was granted a dependent Tier2 visa in Feb2017. He is in UK with me from April 2017 to present. What is the application I can make for him?

You qualified for ILR already, within 28 days before initial visa ISSUE date.

You are wrong. There is NO absence limit for PBS Dependents whose visas were issed BEFORE 11th January 2018. She will qualify for ILR in September 2019.

He will qualify for ILR when your wife does.

Or is it advised to wait till sep2019 and apply all the applications at once?

Their existing visa remain valid. You don't state when it expires, so presumably it is valid passed her ILR qualifying date.

Your choice. Makes no difference. However if you all apply together and your application fails, theirs will fail too.
