Residence card application - need advice

Post by PRNeedHelp » Fri Mar 08, 2019 4:09 pm

Hello,

I have queries related to residence card application, need inputs:

I am an Indian citizen and I joined my husband in UK on D-EEA FP - "family permit(spouse) for EU citizen" which expires in early Apr 2019.
I have applied for residence card on 7 Feb 2019. There is no progress on application since then. The fee money(£65) is not deducted from bank account nor we have received any ack mail/e-mail.
I checked timelines post, in most cases the money is getting deducted within 7 days of application but not in my case.

Could you please provide your feedback on:
1. How can I check the progress of application? Should I wait for more days as 4 weeks passed.

2. As my family permit is expiring in early April, can I expect priority be given to my application or will it be processed as any other application?

Thanks in advance!

1. No online way to check status or progress.

2. No priority unfortunately. Your family permit expiring doesn't change your rights in the UK.
