IHS surcharge

Hello.
Please I need help about IHS surcharge. I am on tier 1 general dependant visa due for renewal in first week of April. I was granted the leave in October 2017 and have been with my son in the UK for one year and six months.
My spouse has ILR. I am applying online for myself and son for FLR. When I get to the IHS website the calculation came up to 4800 for myself and my son. The actual payment is 2400 for both of us from the IHS website I used to calculate the payment before I started the applications.
I have followed the advice some of you have given on this topic before about not including the main applicant in the IHS calculation. When I am filling the IHS page is request for information about the main applicant which I have to provide.
Please help me as time is running out on my visa and I do not have the 4800 to pay

Change the ILR expiry date to 3 years from now instead of 2024.

Thank you for quick response. The information about the main applicati on IHS page request for date of expiry of main applicant leave as well as the visa route and visa type. There is no place I can put 3 years on the form and also I do not have the option of choosing ILR when it comes to visa route and visa type of the main applicant.

Put a date of expiry 3 years from now to get the correct Ihs fee. Presumably you put the date as 2024?

Are you trying to pay IHS separately to the visa application form?

Yes. When I completed the application form, the page took me to IHS website page for IHS payment. I want to believe that after paying the the IHS I will then be taken back to the application page for payment for the application. Thank you for your help I will do as adviced and please I will get back if I have issues again. I appreciate your help
