First child passport born abroad

First child passport born abroad

Can anyone guide me getting my child first British passport. I applied for child 1st British passport.
I have 2 wife. 1st I married in Pakistan and 2nd I married in uk . From 2nd marriage I got nationality. I have children from 1st wife’s PAKPATTANi . I provide all documents with application form they asked including 1st wife marriage certificate .
Except now they ask for British marriage certificate and divorce certificate of 2nd wife.
Please tell me
1- is it legal to have 2 wife’s one in uk and other abroad .
2- what should I do in above case .

Assuming you weren't divorced from your first wife, did you declare that you had a wife in Pakistan when you married in the UK :?:

Your situation is complicated. UK does not recognise polygamy. If you have used your second wife to gain British nationality, without divorcing your first wife it means you have committed fraud. If you did not report it in your naturalization application then your application was errorneous since the second marriage is technically invalid in the UK. So your own citizenship may be revoked.

Take note of the advice given by joeano353 . A passport application for the child born to your first wife will potentially result in far bigger problems. :idea:

Bigamy is a criminal offence under British law and there are also the false declarations which have led to you obtaining British citizenship.

Was this child born from your first wife, born before or after you became British??
