Question: Do I need to list all vacations on "time spent outside UK" portion?

Hi,

I've lived in the UK for 4 and a half years (on a student visa) and am now applying on a spousal visa (I'm married to a UK Citizen). I'm stuck on the portion that asks me for specific dates for "time spent outside the UK". We've gone on many holidays, and I'm not sure I can possibly track down all the exact dates from the past 4.5 years. Any ideas? Thanks.

What is the exact question being asked?? Note we don't have sight of the online forms.

It's the "Family Route" visa application I have to use online, "Family visas: apply, extend or switch," via the https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk site. I'm sorry, but I can't find anywhere a specific code for the application. The exact question is "Have you been out of the UK since you started living here?" I've gone back to the States several times, as well as to Italy, Austria, and Spain. I'm not sure of exact dates and don't know what to do.

Not sure it is relevant to a first spouse visa application. Likely more relevant to the extension in 2.5 years time.

Answer as accurately as possible then but it won't have any effect on the application.
