Have I paid extra money for visa?

Post by oetpan » Fri Mar 29, 2019 2:50 pm

Hi Forum

Could you please advice for scenario below?

I am a British national since Aug 2018 was offered ILR in May 2017.
My 11-year-old India born daughter came to the UK in 2012 Nov, since then she is on the dependent visa Tier 1.
Her visa is valid till 01.08.20 having had an extension on 01.06.2017 after my ILR just in 20 days.

Q: Had my daughter been eligible to apply for ILR with me in 2017 after leaving around 4.5 yrs in UK?

Regards

She could have applied with your spouse if your spousr got ILR after you, assuming your spouse was a PBS dependent visa holder and applied for ILR after you did.

There is no 5 year residence requirement for children on pbs route. Who advised you that the child needed an extension??

As none of your posts seem to state when the other parent got ILR, we can only guess.
