Thank You,

Could someone also advise what are the document required for Tier 2 PBS Main applicant and dependent so I can gather all information well in advance?

Also does P60 mandatory for this so that I can check with my employer?

Kind Regards

Why don’t you take time to read the policy guidelines and check requirements for your visa category. There has been lots of applicants in your category that has posted their documents list on the platform. Try and look through the platform

3:Life In The UK Pass Certificate
4:English Test Pass Certificate
5:Salary Slips for last 6 months
6:Bank Statement for last 6 months
7:Utility Bill/Address Proof (Current address or past addresses as well?)
8:Absence excel sheet - Break up
9:Employment Letter with "foreseeable future"
10:Absence approval letter from Employer
11:Do I need P60 or HMRC employment history for each year?

Dependent:

7:Cohabitation documents - for last two years from the date of submission
- NHS Mail or Tenancy Agreement or utility bill or bank statement
- Document must be submitted at-least every Quarter
8:Marriage certificate

Questions:
Q1: Have I missed any other document in both cases?
Q2: Based on the Dates VISA Issue date we will be eligible to apply ILR on 16th April 2019, is that correct? Can we apply at the same time?
Q3: I am not planning to apply for ILR for my UK born child she will be eligible for Citizenship once I get the ILR, Is that correct?
Q4: Once parents get the ILR, can we go on short holidays out of UK along with our child who has dependent visa and post holidays we'll apply Citizenship for her once we are back in UK? Will there be any issue?
Q5: Can I start filling up the online form and save it for now and will submit the application on 16th or 17th April once I am eligible for ILR? Will there be any issues with that?

Thank you CR001 for your help, I have few more queries please.

I hope I don't need to provide any additional documents except the ones you have highlighted.

5:Joint Bank/Account Statement for last 6 months Presumably this is for proof of address and cohabitation??? If not, then not required.
[AS]: Yes that is proof of address and cohabitation.

6:Absence from UK excel sheet - Break up & Letter Why are you submitting this?? Not required for Dependents who have a current visa issued BEFORE 11th January 2018.
[AS]: Does that mean this is not required for dependent as long as leaves are not 180 days a year?

7:Cohabitation documents - for last two years from the date of submission You need more than a single source by the way, at least 4-6 difference sources.
[AS]: Could you please clarify the 4-6 different sources? Do you mean NHS/Hospital, GP letter, Bank Statement, utility bills, rent agreement? and if we don't have joint statement or our both names, but she has these document on her name then do I also need to arrange documents for me as well for the same month as dependent?

Q4: Once parents get the ILR, can we go on short holidays out of UK along with our child who has dependent visa and post holidays we'll apply Citizenship for her once we are back in UK? Will there be any issue? Yes, no issue as long as the child has a valid visa to return.
[AS]: My child's visa valid until 17 Jun 2019 and we are planning to go on holidays in May. will there be any issues?

[AS]: Yes that is proof of address and cohabitation.
Note your cohab documents need to cover 2 years.
6:Absence from UK excel sheet - Break up & Letter Why are you submitting this?? Not required for Dependents who have a current visa issued BEFORE 11th January 2018.
[AS]: Does that mean this is not required for dependent as long as leaves are not 180 days a year?
There is NO absence limit for PBS Dependents who have visas issued before 11th January 2018. There is NO requirement to declare absences etc.
Tenancy, council tax, bank statements and utilities should suffice. If they are in joint names, fine. This is for your dependent.
[/quote]
No issue as long as you return before the child's visa expires.

Re: ILR Main Applicant & Dependent (Tier 2 General route)

Post by asaxena » Thu Mar 28, 2019 11:32 pm

Dear All,

I have got couple of queries. Could you pls help me?

Tier 2 General
1) How could I classify my absence leaves. for example: I have taken more than allocated leaves (i.e. 35 & 40) in two years however they are still under 180 days clause. Can I classify all my leaves as personal leaves as they were actually personal or do I need to be more specific like annual leaves, personal leaves, tourism etc..

Tier 2 Dependent:
2) Cohabitation documents: In last 2 years I have moves 3 houses.. in May 2017, April 2018 & Nov 2018 so we have a tanancy agreement on our names, couple of joint bank statement and my wife has Hospital & GP letters on her name. Since I am getting paperless bills on my name so can I use paperless bill as a cohabitation document?

Do you think above documents will be enough for this?

Thanks,
Akhil

1. Just classify them as what they were taken for. E.g sick leave, annual leave etc

2. Above documents will be fine. Also it doesn’t matter if it’s paperless once it carries the logo of the company etc and it’s on their letterhead

Thank you Bizman.

I have got another query, please help me.

Do I need to contact my council to get any sort of address proof for me and spouse? One of my friend suggested to get a letter from them and when I called them they had no clue what sort of letter they can provide.

So is that really required? If I have bank statement or any other utility bills for previous months, will that not be sufficient for the same?

Thanks in Advance.

You don’t need to contact council for that. If you have the bank statement and other utility bills in your name is fine. Do you pay council tax.

Tier 2 General ILR Set (o) online application query

Post by asaxena » Mon Apr 08, 2019 11:46 am

Dear Gurus,

Could you please clarify the following points in the online application form?

What information do I need to Provide for tier 2 general 5 years main applicant?

1) Evidence of Mr XX XXX immigration status in the UK

2) For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules. For further information concerning the evidence required, please refer to the Tier 2 migrant policy guidance on our website

3) Declaration signed by Mr XX XXX to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks.
[AS]: Is it the same consent form available while filling up the application? so I just need to download and submit the signed copy, is that right?

Kind Regards
Akhil

Your current BRP card.
2) For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules. For further information concerning the evidence required, please refer to the Tier 2 migrant policy guidance on our website
Nothing you need to provide. This is relevant to those combining Tier 1 time and Tier 2 time to make up 5 years for ILR.

p.s. can you please also refrain from posting your full name and surname on the forum for your own safety/security. It is a very public page and we have many scammers and spammers trawling the forum.
