I am applying for a Spouse Visa to join my wife in the UK, she is a British Citizen, and qualifies for the minimum income requirement for working for 6 months.
Just wanted to check the visa type:
The UK visa site has option for "Settlement -> Settlement -> Husband" (but not Appendix FM Partner or anything else that makes sense), which I chose, but the VFSGlobal site has options for both "Settlement" and "Appendix FM Partner".
Then the UK site indicates that "settling" is basically the same as "indefinite leave to remain" [here https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y/y ... ur-partner and here https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouse], but that is inconsistent with their own options on their visa application site, but seems consistent with the VFSGlobal options. But it seems that the Settlement Priority Service is only for the Settlement Visa, which leads me to believe I fall under that category, since I'm expecting to pay for the more expensive priority service.
So, the question would be, do I fall under "Appendix FM Partner" or "Settlement" ? I might be misunderstanding what "Appendix FM Partner" is, but I thought it was for the Spouse Visa when applying to join the spouse in the UK, while "Settlement" would be ILR, but it seems inconsistent betweent he two sites.
