Parents visa - Pakistan

Post by Saud1 » Tue Apr 16, 2019 12:25 pm

Hi,
Can a British Citizen apply for his/her parents who currently are in Pakistan under family visa category? I mean, is there a route available for the parents to reside permanently in UK just like spouse? If so, which visa they should go for. Any guidance appreciated.
Many thanks,
Saud

That route is almost near to impossible because very few people suceeded after lengthy costly legal fights.

Also consider that if your parents apply for an Adult Dependent visa and are refused (as is likely), the door will close for entry to the UK as visitors in the future, due to the prior intention to settle.

Both of your parents would have to prove that they are unable to dress, bathe, prepare food etc on a daily basis....and also meet the other conditions in the Home Office conditions.

The Immigration Rules were tightened in July 2012 and since then there have been very few ADV applications approved.

They dont even give visit visa to parent easily let alone settlement visa..i applied for my mother twice and attached dozen documents(boht compulsory and optionals) in support of her application but got rejected with no right of appeal and reason of refused were rather silly..you cannot challenge them even if they lie
