On Line Ancestry application

Post by Rob555 » Fri Apr 12, 2019 8:13 am

Hi
My wife and I are applying for an Ancestry visa to the UK. I have completed the On line application and would just like clarity on one of the questions.
Q: How long do you intend to stay? Ans: Indefinitely

Is his correct or should I rather state 5 years as this will be the term of the visa. We do intend to apply for ILR once we are able to.

Well done on a very helpful site. :)

Thank you
Robin

Financial requirments plus questions

Post by Rob555 » Tue Apr 23, 2019 3:26 am

Hi,
I have completed an Ancestral Visa application online.

1) I have entered the 77. "The total amount of money you have for this trip" ans: e.g. 40,000
This is he combined total for both my wife and myself. This figure is the same on each of our applications. I am now wondering if it should not have been 20,000 each?

2) Do I need to take a photo with to the VFS center appointment? My understanding is they will take a biometric photo so a normal photo should no longer be required?

3) I am having trouble registering on the VFS Global site. I get the error message that the email is already registered. If I try and login with the email and then use the "forgot password" I do not get a email back with a link to change the password.
Question: Does anyone have an email address for me to report his to VFS. There are no contact details on the Australian UK site.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Robin

Hi,
My apologies for this. Does that mean the answers is the same as the last question?

The answers that I have given are fine?

Thanks
Robin
