Yes. They only advertise main ceremonies on their website. My understanding is that these smaller ceremonies are to cater for people that can not attend the main ceremony for various reasons.eraylankester wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 1:32 pmIn addition to the 30th September ceremony in Killarney, as advertised on the INIS website?
Its interesting to know that the next ceremony is on 28 June 2019. In fact one of my friend contacted the citizenship division through his Solicitor, as his wife's application was stuck in second stage. On 15th April his Solicitor received a reply stating that his spouse application has been passed to Minister for final decision and she will be invited for June ceremony. They did not give the exact date. I have a little query. Almost all the Citizenship ceremonies are held on Monday, but its Friday on 28 June 2019. Could it be 24 June 2019? Secondly I will be grateful if you share that from what source you get this information?littlerr wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 12:03 pm28 June 2019 at WIT, Waterford. Probably going to be a much smaller one similar to the one they had last year in National Concert Hall.
It will most likely not be advertised on INIS website.
Good luck to everyone who’s still waiting.

I cannot tell you what the occasion is, as that would make both me and the staff identifiable, but it is an official correspondence from the citizenship department as instructed by the minister.trustworthy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 11:30 pmIts interesting to know that the next ceremony is on 28 June 2019. Please provide your valuable comments.
Thanks.
Thank you littlerr. I checked and confirm that there have been few ceremonies on Fridays previously. I did not doubt about the veracity of your statement but was bit confused by observing the last few ceremonies on Mondays. I Perceived that Monday is the official day for ceremonies.
Thank you for this information. If you don’t mind could you share whether you get this date through any approval letter or by your solicitor or TD?littlerr wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 12:03 pm28 June 2019 at WIT, Waterford. As I mentioned in my previous post, I cannot disclose the information at this stage, but it is from an official source in the Justice department in written form.frontliner wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 7:24 amThank you for this information. Congrats. The invitation letter is sent 3-4 weeks before the ceremony, so you should expect to receive yours in the first 2 weeks of June.Cometoireland wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 2:29 pmI can confirm your information above. I received my letter requesting me to send in gnib, 950e etc for consideration back in March but unfortunately, I was out of the country so I didn't get to submit my documents and payment until yesterday. Last week, I went to check if I should renew my residence permit as it expires in August or if I should send in my existing one and they told me the next ceremony was 28th June so I should be ok...Hopefully I get invited to that one.
Anyone know how long it takes to be invited to the ceremony after your payment is made?
Thanks, fingers crossed I get the invitation for the June ceremonylittlerr wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 3:37 pmCongrats.
