Document confirmation email

Hi guys,

So I handed in my documents last Thursday in Croydon , well they were scanned, but I have not received any confirmation email as of yet. Is this normal? If not, what can I do as I was not provided with any confirmation of submission.

Yes it is normal. You likely are not going to receive anything until your decision.

But in the timeline thread for set Lr people are posting saying they will receive an email saying documents have been received. The woman who scanned my documents seemed to indicate the same thing.

When people post in timeline thread they include a post dating documents submitted and documents received. Often the dates match so I got worried as I have not received an email saying they have my documents.

I looked at the recent timelines and can't find such posts sating acknowledgement of docs received. Mostly the centre people ask the scentee staff if they have been sent and get a verbal confirmation.

Found one post stating an acknowledgement letter but it was for a postal application.

You do NOT get any confirmation email after verification of your documents at a UKVCAS centre.

The staff only asks you if you are happy to submit and then submit your documents. Thats it.

I’m assuming the only communication to be be expected is the decision / long letter. Which will come through post?

Likely an initial email telling you the decision will be in the post.
