DependantVisa

Post by Amarie » Fri May 17, 2019 7:29 pm

Good day!

I came to the Uk march 20,2015 and my Visa will expire on December 30,2019. Tier 2 general visa.

In my understanding, i have to extend my visa so I can stay further in the UK. I believe i can apply for the upto three years visa. However, i think we can only stay max 6 years with Tier 2 General Visa. Does that mean the expiry of my visa will only be until March 20, 2021? Even if I paid for 3 years?

And how about the expiry date of my dependant? Thanks

Correct. You will only get a visa up to a maximum of 6 years in total on Tier 2.

Your dependent will likely get the same expiry as you but the 6 year cap does NOT apply to PBS Dependents.
