Spousal visa - 6 months employment

Post by Wireko » Sat May 18, 2019 7:02 am

Hi there, in need of some advice.

I’m British Citizen applying for my husband to join me in the UK from overseas. I qualify the salary requirements (over £18,600pa). However my 6 months continual employment is not so simple. I worked for an agency with a company for 3 months. After 3 months that company decided to take me on permanently as their employee. So far I’ve worked permanently for 3 months.

Although I’ve worked in this company overall for 6 months, will it be counted as 6 months continual employment? or counted as 2 different employers, so only 3 months employment?

Grateful for clarity anyone could offer!

It is two separate employers. The agency is one as they would have paid your salary and the last 3 months is your current employer.
