What to Expect after Set (M) (ILR) Appointment

Post by vbn55 » Wed May 29, 2019 3:49 pm

Hello,

My wife had her ILR Set (M) appointment at Sopra Steria 2 weeks ago. We applied through the standard route, i.e. non-priority. We have not yet received any emails or any letters following the appointment.

Do the UKVI send any emails or letters after the appointment?

Thank you in advance.

No they don't, unless they need additional documents or information.

Now you simply wait to hear back what the outcome is. It can take up to 8 weeks, sometimes longer.

Ok thank you. I thought they might send a courtesy email or letter acknowledging the application and that it was under process etc.

I guess we just need to wait now? Is there a thread on here with timelines for non-priority Set (M) applications?
