Naturalisation question

Post by rvk_23 » Fri May 31, 2019 3:33 pm

Hi ,

I am in the process of applying for naturalisation for my wife who has an ILR since 2012 , me and 2 of our kids have BC. I have obtained the UKNARIC certificates for English Language requirement which has come out to be C1.
With the new process of applying via UKVCAS , the following are not clear,

A. Do we have our passports returned back immediately and are we allowed to travel during the application process. I have looked at other threads it feels like it is ok but not very sure.

B. Do we need to submit the Life in UK test certificate along with documents. She had taken this test at the time of ILR application .

C. Do we have to look for anything specific on the certificates from UKNARIC other than the level C1/C2

It would be really helpful if you can provide me some guidance on the above and apologies for creating a separate thread.

Thanks.

Did you do the cheaper Blue Route NARIC or did you do the UKVI Red Route English and comparable assessment?? You need both assessments and it costs around £150.

Yes you get them back and are free to travel.
B. Do we need to submit the Life in UK test certificate along with documents. She had taken this test at the time of ILR application .
Yes, you need to submit it.
C. Do we have to look for anything specific on the certificates from UKNARIC other than the level C1/C2
You need the English and comparable to UK degree assessment as stated above.

Also when I enquired with NARIC I was told that the Visa service certificates provided AQUAL AND ELPS Are sufficient and does not require the comparability certificates .

Please can you confirm if this is good enough.
