Switch from ITC Tier-2 long Term 5 Year Visa to ITC General Visa

Post by rajpalnain » Mon Jun 10, 2019 12:00 pm

Hi,

I'm requesting if someone can guide/help me how to Switch from ITC Tier-2 long Term 5 Year Visa to ITC General Visa.

I have ITC Tier-2 long Term 5 Year Visa, landed in the UK 25th March 2017 and validity till 14th April 2022. I am expecting my current employer will be ready to issue me another Certificate of Sponsorship if the Government allowed?

Is there any chance to avoid 12 months cooling off period upon the completion of 5 years or any chance to Switching from ITC Tier-2 long Term 5 Year Visa to ITC General Visa or Apply to ILR?

I am worried about my children (daughter would be in Year 10th and son would be in Year 8th, in 2022 in the UK) who are on my dependent visa.

Could anyone please-please suggest some solution, so that I can continue my service in the UK to serve my family?

Regards,
Raj

You cannot stay longer than t years and 1 month if you earn less than £120k pa.

Not really. The only way you can a pod the cooling off period is if you are offered a job with a salary I'm excess of £159,600 pa. Note also that your current player cannot sponsor you for tier 2 general. It has to be a different employer. You also cannot apply for ilr after 5 years on Oct as Oct issued after 6 April 2010 doesn't lead to settlement.

Is your spouse not able to get tier 2 general sponsorship and you all switch to her dependent?
