Tier2 ICT 10 months want Tier2 General

I have Tier2 ICT Visa and in UK for last 10 months. However I am getting much better opportunities then what I have right now but all employers are saying you might need cooling off period 12 months before applying for Tier2 General.

Please advise is there no way overcome this cooling off period. I feel I can get good offer up to 80,000 pounds but not clear on this cooling off thing so stuck.

You are subject to the 12 month cooling off period before you can apply for tier 2 general. It is only waived if you are offered salary in excess of £159,600pa.
