Update on timeline.

First contact made to request form: 30th March (Details given 31st March after callback)
Application form received: 26th April
Application form completed and returned: 26th April (Special Delivery)
Application form received by Home Office: 29th April
Biometrics letter received: 11th June (Letter dated 5th June) including return of passports and previous residence cards - other documents not yet returned.
Biometrics given: 11th June
Indefinite Leave to Remain (Settled Status) granted 13th June (told by phone)
BRC to be received within 10 days (told by phone)

My wife missed 2 calls from the Home Office, yesterday and today. The caller said that she was responding to my complaint and asked her to call back. I called back today and asked for the person who had left the message. The call handler said that they had never heard of that person She asked for my wife's reference number so she could check on the system. I told her it was a Surinder Singh application, because it is on a different computer system - not the system the EU Resolution Centre staff mainly access. She went off to check on the other system. She came back and said that my wife has been granted ILR and will receive her Biometric Residence Card within 10 days.

She has not yet received a Certificate of Application or a letter confirming the granting of ILR status, but I will update if any of these are received and when the card arrives.

I hope everyone on this forum will receive their status as soon as possible.

Congratulations!! I'm admin on a Surinder Singh Facebook group, where dozens of us have applied for EU Settlement Scheme since 27th of April. About 8 of us have received our biometrics enrolment letters, but no one has heard news of actually getting the status yet! I've shared your post with the group

Hi all, another update.

My wife received her Biometric Residence Card today.

Biometrics given - 11th June
Letter confirming Settled Status - dated 12th June
Biometric Residence Card received - 17th June

So, less than a week from giving biometrics to receiving the card.

No Certificate of Application received.

Just an update, after over 6 weeks of waiting we called the EU resolution, absolutely nothing has happened on our application, no return of documents no letter of application. What a bloody joke

Got my biometric letter today dated 14/06.
Submit my application on 30/04 and HO recieved on 1/05.

Same here. My application was received on 1st of May.
I have received biometrics letter this morning and just done the biometrics. Hopefully it will not take too long for HO to make a decision.

I have residence card which is valid til 2022.
If I apply do I have to do biometric again?

I got my residence card today. Glad this is finally over!! Now on to applying for citizenship.

Also, as a note, my residence permit vignette had "expired" back in January and I didn't provide any info again about our period while in the EU country. I skipped all of those questions and simply provided proof of 5 years residence and marriage certificate. There was no issue there.

Good look to everyone. Hope you all get your residence cards soon.

Only passports are returned with the letter.

Biometric Letter received: 18/06/2019 (No passports returned as I have previously submitted this with a PR application, which is still pending an outcome).
Biometrics completed: 18/06/2019
COA received: Pending
BRC received (Settled Status): Pending

it was special delivery so yes you will need to sign.

I find this interesting.
My wife's RC expired last July, and it took me ages to complete the form and compile this evidence but it looks like I shouldn't have bothered.

I hope they're as slack on the proof of 5 years residency in the UK as I only supplied my wife's National Insurance number, and a SAR from Border Control which showed her entry and exits over the years.

We did receive passport and biometrics letter yesterday, so hopefully have a positive decision and card within the week.
