I applied early September 2018 via London, 'sent for final approval' email in December 2018, obviously meant nothing. Recent calls for updates have said it is indeed now actually really at the approval stage with a manager and is imminent. Hoping for mid-end July for the certificate to reach me if no email to say approved in the meantime!
I keep watching and waiting, especially since Micahel123 got his email. Nothing yet for me, mine was received by FBR confirmed by email on Aug 23, 2018.Michael123 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 2:18 pmIt seems as they are randomly processing Aug applications.
Congrats to YOU Michael, so happy for you!!!!
My birthday is this coming weekend, I get it Michael, I am so excited for you!! I am so hoping I get notification of citizenship by then!!Michael123 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 12:31 amBased on past experiences, certified email from Dublin arrives in the USA the day after it is mailed and generally takes 4-9 days for US postal to deliver. Would love to see it before the 4th of July as it is a holiday and my mothers bday.
I have the US postal service app called “informed delivery” it notifies me of all incoming mail (with pictures) and tracking for all incoming packages.Court2 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 2:47 pmMichael, how did you get the tracking number for your certificate? Was this provided via email by the DFA? Haven't seen this before, hope it happens for my certificate sometime soon although some have mentioned here that certificates to UK get sent in standard post.
Happy upcoming Bday!!usczkat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 3:37 pmMy birthday is this coming weekend, I get it Michael, I am so excited for you!! Sulla wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 12:59 amThat's fantastic Michael. If it arrives tomorrow (actually today in my time zone) that will be record time for recent deliveries outside the UK / Ireland. They still use other methods to send things to China and these are much slower than the one used to get mail to you in the US. You should be into the passport phase by the start of next week.
As for me, it's once more time to move on. My month in Thailand has been very relaxing. Now I will proceed to Malaysia for the rest of the summer.
I understand completely. It's frustrating when others who applied at around the same time (or even later) are receiving confirmations or certificates and you are still in limbo. I felt similar when Sean and Spav were on the brink of receiving their passports and I was still without my FBR certificate. Michael has been waiting for a very long time too. You both have. I can only hope that you hear something in the next couple of weeks. At least the postage situation seems to be very well handled back to the United States.Laurie9434 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 3:57 amWhere is my e-mail!!!!

Received in Dublin, notified by email on:

(my patience is growing short)
Michael123, kindly repost the attachment and make sure ALL names, addresses and Irish FBR official details are fully blacked out and redacted completely. I could clearly make out your full name and address and you had not redacted the Irish officials name either.
Thank you for deleting!CR001 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 6:40 pmMichael123, kindly repost the attachment and make sure ALL names, addresses and Irish FBR official details are fully blacked out and redacted completely.
