ICT Dependent to Tier 2 General

Hi Immigration Gurus,

I was on a ICT Tier 2 dependent visa (from last 4 years) and have got the dependent visa until end of July. Recently I got a job and I applied for Tier 2 General from India. I have got the visa but since I have a future joining date, my visa start date is somewhat end of next month.

Just wanted to know that once I have got the Tier 2 General visa, is my dependent visa got cancelled? If not, can I use my dependent visa to come to UK and join my family? Basically I want to avoid waiting for a month because of my visa start date.

Yes, your dependent visa would have been cancelled.

You must enter the UK on your tier 2 general to get it stamped in the 30 days visa.
