Salary + Variable Category A - Partner Visa

Post by rich- » Sun Jun 30, 2019 11:43 am

Hi,

Can anybody help me understand this process:

I earn £18,000 per year salaried / £1500 per month
I earn £50-150 variable per month extra from agency work

May 1500
June 1500
July 1500 + 100
August 1500 + 125
September 1500 + 50
October 1500 + 100

The salaried job is new and started May, the agency I started over a year ago (no work May, June).

Can this be calculated under category A route, I read that some people have attached two different employers on the additional info section.

If you have earned at least £18600 during the last 12 months then apply under category B.

Didn’t unfortunately earn anything Jan-April as I was travelling.

Can I have the 1500 per month salaried income and variable monthly income agency for category A (i.e, no agency work May, June, but made extra over the next couple of months).

Or have I got to always have a minimum 1550 per month made up from both employments.

Category A won't be suitable because your salaried job isn't at least 6 months old. Try to complete 6 months there and do overtime there to meet the financial requirement via category A.

Thanks seagul,

There is no overtime here available at all, I can do 6 month’s here that is no problem but can I make the extra up from agency for category A?

Usually the aggregation of more than one employment's income is allowed under category B. But if you have 6 months older savings of around £17500 then can only use salaried person employment's income under category A where you are earning £1500 per month.
