Tier-2 general: My university is recognized by UK NARIC. Do I still have to get the certificate for the same.

Hi All,

Please help me, I am little confused. I am having a bachelor degree from Punjab Technical University. My university is recognised by UK NARIC. Do I still have to get the certificate or take an english test?

You need the UKVI Red Route NARIC English and comparable assessment. Costs around £150.

But I have been taught in English and recognised by UK NARIC then also I have to take the assessment???

If you are using a foreign degree to meet the English language requirement, you need NARIC assessments, this is clearly stated on the HO website and members have been refused for not submitting these.

You can prove your knowledge of English by either:

passing an approved English language test with at least CEFR level B1 in reading, writing, speaking and listening
having an academic qualification that was taught in English and is recognised by UK NARIC as being equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD

Exactly!! so I am satisfying 2nd point.

I am having a bachelor’s degree from a university recognised by UK NARIC.
