my dependant (wife) is not living aboard (absent from UK) for more than 3 months per year to maintain that we are living together.
She was out of country 3 months before for a periond of 2.5 months. Now due to complexity in pregnancy she wanted to go and live with her parents for 3 months again. I am bit worried if that would be problem becuase of her absence for around 5.5 months in a year.
I know there is no document or evidence where it's written number of days allowed to be out of UK.
Still I would like to have expert's opinion that should she go for another 3 months and 5.5 months per year would not be any problem on her next visa extension or ILR?

There is no absence limit or a 3 months absence limit for a spouse settlement visa holder.

thank you CR001, does that mean, even if she will absent for this year 5.5 months in total, there should not be any problem for her visa extension or ILR?

There is no absence limit. She will hover have to submit evidence of cohabitation in both your names for at least the 2 years prior to date of ILR application.

Just want to clarify one point, she has to submit the evidence of cohabitation with both my name for atleast 2 years
(out of 5 years) for ILR?

The most recent 2 years preceding date of application. Joint names correspondence or individually addressed to each at the same address.
