Appendix 2 as well as Appendix FM Partner?

Hello, I am a British citizen, and my spouse is a non-EU citizen, we are currently applying for my spouse to join me in the UK on a family visa for the first time.

We have been using the gov dot uk website instructions, applying under the Appendix FM Partner process - however having completed that online form, when looking at documents mentioned on the vfs website that was liniked to, it mentioned Appendix 2 as well.

The question that we would really appreciate an answer to is this - is it necessary to complete the Appendix 2 form, as well as the Appendix FM Partner form?

We've tried to find out, but have had some unclear advice, including from the Home Office line.

Any help in getting more clarity on if Appendix 2 is also needed or generally a good idea to complete as well, or not, would be very much appreciated. Thanks

As a precaution simply send them appendix 2 along with other documents.
