visitor visa urgent help please

Post by chrisbur » Wed Aug 07, 2019 12:42 pm

Hi there,
Just need some one to brutally honest with me.
we are in the process of inviting my brother to come and visit the UK for one month.
This is our situation, my husband is self employed, he earned £8100 net profit last year ,i have been on maternity leave but wont be going back to work in the near future due to childcare commitments, (3 year old and 7 month twins). We own our house (mortgage) and we have £12000 savings
We are sponsoring his visit, should cost around £1500-£2000, flights included.
What are the chances of him being granted 6 months visit visa with my husband's income?
Thank you.

What evidence of ties to home country will he submit? This is more important than who is paying for his visit.

He owns his home (plot of land plus property)
He lives with his girlfriend - no children yet
He has a job to go back to
We have a close family that he regularly sees and visits

That doesn't sound good, does it? I am not sure being unmarried and no children helps

income from his job £210 pounds per month
he has a subsistence farm but what he gets from it at the moment is reinvested (pays farm manager and vet bills) Thank you for taking time to reply, really appreciate it
