Spouse Visa questions.

Post by guitarfreak » Sun Aug 04, 2019 9:33 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am currently getting my documents together for my Filipino wifes spouse visa application.

So far i have

- Timeline of chat logs from facebook, pasted into a PDF
- Timeline of photos together, pasted into a PDF
- Letter from employers (I changed job a month ago, i have a letter confirming my old contract period and salary. Also one from my new employer)
- Contract for new job signed
- 12 Month Bank statements ( Need to get one more with August salary)
- I will write a variery of cover letters to explain change of job etc
- Letter from parents confirming that my wife is ok to live here

My questions are

1. We will initially be applying to live at my current house with my parents. I have downloaded the £3 land registry freehold document that states my parents own it etc. The thing here is that my parents co own it with the housing association. Do i need to download the leasehold ones as well or get any letter from the housing association?

2. Do i need to get a inspection report? Or can i make my own document with a photo of each room, and a copy of who lives here to satisfy that there is sufficient room?

3. I read somewhere that the fee is more than £1500 and £900 NHS as it is charged in foreign currency? Is that correct?

4. Do i need anything additional to what i havent posted here?

Thankyou in advance for any replies :)

1. You can add council tax and housing association noc letter

2. No need if there is no none-related adult is living there

3. application fee is £1523 and IHS £1200. Usually the UKVI currency exchange rate is higher so it might be higher than that depending on that exchange rate.

4.12 months of payslips, TB test, A1 ielts life skills, marriage certificate, wedding pictures, whatsapp call/chat logs etc.

Try it if they can give otherwise since your parents also own the property so their noc letter, council tax and land registry will be sufficient. You dont need inspection report if no one other than your family member is living there.
