How much time is given between submitting application and sending documents? I am in the process of submitting application for spousal renewal but travelling next week for 10 days and obviously need to send my passport with documents. Trying to figure out of if I can submit application now or must I wait until my return which puts me closer to the expiration of my current resident permit.

How much time is given between submitting application and sending documents? Trying to figure out of if I can submit application now or must I wait until my return which puts me closer to the expiration of my current resident permit.

If after submitting the online application you travel outside the UK then application will be treated as withdrawn. Preferably travel when you will get your renewal or return before expiry.
