I believe it means ubka will be happy to accept the bank statements in a single pdf(merged) rather than a separate pdf for each month. I am self employed (Director Ltd Company) and accounts cycle is Jan to Dec. therefore I will have to provide the bank statements from Jan 2018 to July 2019. It will be easier for me to merge 17 month statements to single pdf.
You do not need to upload at the centre, or provide copies (except TB certificate), if you have uploaded online.
However, if you upload supporting documents in the country of application at the VAC, there is no charge. If your UK based sponsor uploads them in the UK (for an out of country application), there is a 75GBP charge.
You will not be given the opportunity to review the uploaded documents, so a pointless comment. You can, however, opt to upload at the VAC FOC if applying in country of residence.
You can upload all statements/accounts in one document.
I have a successful application and so speak from experience.
