Spouse Visa online Documents Upload Query

Post by anutri27 » Tue Aug 06, 2019 8:24 pm

Hi All,

I have UK ILR and my wife is going to apply for spouse visa application through visas-immigration.service.gov.uk site which is giving an option to upload documents online.

Could you please let us know :
1) if I still need to provide hard copies in VFS Center at the time biometrics after uploading them online ?
2) Can I merge multiple monthly bank statements into single pdf rather than uploading every monthly statement pdf ?

1. Preferably take the hard copies for just in case if any important document haven't been fully uploaded then VFS staff will rescan it.

2. You may get such software on search as I heard from one member who used that.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

I believe it means ubka will be happy to accept the bank statements in a single pdf(merged) rather than a separate pdf for each month. I am self employed (Director Ltd Company) and accounts cycle is Jan to Dec. therefore I will have to provide the bank statements from Jan 2018 to July 2019. It will be easier for me to merge 17 month statements to single pdf.

You do not need to upload at the centre, or provide copies (except TB certificate), if you have uploaded online.

However, if you upload supporting documents in the country of application at the VAC, there is no charge. If your UK based sponsor uploads them in the UK (for an out of country application), there is a 75GBP charge.

You will not be given the opportunity to review the uploaded documents, so a pointless comment. You can, however, opt to upload at the VAC FOC if applying in country of residence.

You can upload all statements/accounts in one document.

I have a successful application and so speak from experience.
