I have a few questions regarding applying for Permanent Residency/ ILR
I initially came to UK in April 2008 under a work permit for inter company transfer
I had to go out of the country for 2 times more than 180 days due to my work
Due to these gaps in residency, I was not able to apply for Permanent Residency.
I last entry to UK from Dublin was in Aug 2015.
I have made some calculations of my own and my wife’s 5year residency calculations.
I have a few questions that I would like to ask you
Can I apply for ILR on the 1st of March 2020 or will I have to wait till 06 Aug 2020?
Can my wife apply with me as she more than 180 days gap in the first year?
If she cannot apply with me when can she apply
Is there any documents that I need to provide for the 2 gaps (175 and 16 days) in the first and third year?
Lastly, I need to know the list of documents I would need to gather before applying for Permanent Residency.

If you initially applied for Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) on or after 6 April 2010, you cannot qualify for settlement.

Possible as the OP held an old style work permit previously and has no gaps.

You can only include leave as a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) Migrant if the continuous
period of 5 years spent lawfully in the United Kingdom includes a period of leave as:
• a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) Migrant granted under the Rules in place before 6
April 2010, or
• a Work Permit Holder, provided that the work permit was granted because you were
the subject of an Intra-Company Transfer.

Second bullet point clearly applies to the OP.
I initially came to UK in April 2008 under a work permit for inter company transfer
