Whichever job is giving you sufficient income to meet the financial requirement just use the payslips of that one and don't show other job to keep the case more straightforward.KristianDLloyd wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2019 4:52 pmHi All,
I am hoping someone can help me on this point.
I have two jobs, one of which is F/T and salaried and the other which is P/T and paid hourly. My salaried employment is over 2x the threshold. My question is would they (UKVI) still require my P/T employment payslips? My P/T employment is for a national retailer and it would be an absolute nightmare to have these verified.
Should also add that I have had two raises within the last 6 months (same employer), so will have to go down the Category B route (correct me if wrong on this point..)
Thanks in advance,
K.
HO won't look on any transaction other than the ones matching with your attached payslips which you using for meeting financial requirement.KristianDLloyd wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 1:28 pmThanks, Seagul. Would they not pick up on the additional amounts from my second employer on my bank statement?
If your wages are fixed then HO usually takes the lowest wages figure otherwise average of last 6 months if wages varying each month.KristianDLloyd wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 1:28 pm
Also - any suggestions how I would deal with a raise in pay (raise in January and March)? Would I just use the lower salary, pre-raise?
Thanks again.
Congratulations on success for which you were advised correctly. Due to the lowest wages figures during the last 6 months were also higher to meet the requirement, therefore, the financial requirement was conveniently met. Nevertheless, the official guidance over it stands same:seagul wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 6:58 pmHO won't look on any transaction other than the ones matching with your attached payslips which you using for meeting financial requirement.KristianDLloyd wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 1:28 pmThanks, Seagul. 5.1.4. The only difference in Category A between salaried and non-salaried employment is how
gross annual salary or employment income is calculated:
Where the person is in salaried employment – they must have been paid throughout
the period of 6 months prior to the date of application at a level of gross annual salary
which equals or exceeds the level relied upon in the application. Therefore the figure
used towards the requirement will be the lowest level of annual salary received during
the 6 month period.
