Tier 2 General ILR eligibility

Post by mmani » Mon Aug 19, 2019 8:08 pm

Hi,
My husband came to UK on Tier 2 General visa.
Visa valid from 27 Oct 2014 and expires on 7 Oct 2019.
He plans to apply for ILR on priority on 3rd Oct. His sponsor however, has decided to send him back to India on 15th of September. If this becomes official he might choose to resign with 1 month notice period. Will his resignation affect his ILR application? He also has another job offer with start date 7th October provided his ILR is granted. I'm not sure if that is helpful in anyway.

Many Thanks

He needs to be employed with his sponsor and have the "required for the foreseeable future" letter and the absence letter to be able to apply for ilr.

A new job is irrelevant unless he changes sponsors and then applies for ilr.
