Last Date to apply for BRP extension

Request your kind advise on the below please.

I am currently on ICT Tier 2 Visa. My CoS is expiring on 4th October and BRP on 18th October and my company has already requested for new CoS.

(a) My company says that I have to apply both new CoS and new BRP before CoS expiry date.
Is there any specific rule to apply for new BRP before the existing CoS expiry i.e. apply before 4th October ?

(b) What is the last date I can apply for new BRP, provided I get the new CoS ?

(c) I have travel plans to India next month. I am travelling on 25th September and returning on 10th October. Can I apply for new BRP once I land UK ? Will it be too late for that ?

You are not simply applying for a new BRP. You have to apply for a visa extension and as part of the process, if approved you get a new BRP card. You need the CoS before you can apply for an extension.

You must apply for an extension of your ICT visa BEFORE your current VISA expires.

(c) I have travel plans to India next month. I am travelling on 25th September and returning on 10th October. Can I apply for new BRP once I land UK ? Will it be too late for that ?

You are free to travel if you have a valid visa.

Regarding the first question. My company have already raised a request for Cos extension. Next is to apply for visa extension.

As I read on forums that once we apply for visa extension we won't be able to travel until we get the new BRP.

So, considering I have a new CoS(valid till 2020) and old BRP (valid till 18th Oct 2019), Can I still go ahead with my exiting travel plans ?I am travelling on 25th September and returning on 10th October.

Yes, once they have the CoS and assign it to you, then you can apply for the extension.

Not sure how much more clear I can state that you are free to travel as long as you have a valid visa. A CoS is NOT a visa. So the CoS will just sit there and wait till you apply for your extension.
